Frito-Lay Shrek 2 Standee

This unique account-specific market tie-in with the popular movie Shrek 2 and Frito-Lay created a kid- and parent-friendly destination that resulted in the purchase of Frito-Lay core brands.

This bright and vibrant four-color corrugated display measured over six feet tall and was built tough to withstand retail man/kid handling. The oversized bin contained more than 200 curly straws, keeping them upright, organized and at kid level. The front graphic message stood out more than 12 inches to bring the message to Mom and Dad, and 200 self-serve recipe guides utilizing Frito-Lay products accompanied the display, encouraging cross-selling of all the core brands

This easy-to-set up display shipped compactly, with straws and recipes included.

After the promotion concluded, many of the Shrek 2 standees made the trip home from the store to become a predominate feature in many kids' rooms.


Musicland/American Idol/Nokia display

The main objective was to introduce a new product line into the Musicland group of stores. Until now, Musicland was primarily a music and DVD store.  This promotion allows Musicland to expand into consumer electronics with the help of the hit TV show “American Idol.” Since the demographics of Musicland customers mirror “American Idol,” their goal was for the customer to come into the store, be drawn to the American Idol display, gather the necessary product information and purchase the Nokia phones.

Musicland marketed this promotion with in-store displays, window signage and newspaper print ads.

Design Features:

  • This life-size display demonstrates the product and also merchandises the product for sale.
  • On-display brochures deliver additional product and service information.
  • The display is updateable for future new offers by quickly exchanging lug-ons.  
  • The field appreciated the ease of setup with this pre-assembled temporary display.
