The Meyers Printing Company Launches New Division to Serve Life Sciences, Automotive, and Aerospace Industries

Function47 Division Focused on Printed Electronics and Printed Conductive Inks

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (March 20, 2023) – The Meyers Printing Company, an award-winning printing company that designs innovative packaging, labels, retail displays and more, is launching a new division to serve primarily the life sciences, automotive, and aerospace industries. Function47 specializes in printing with conductive inks, including silver, copper, and carbon inks. Meyers entered this market in 2019 and saw yearly increases at a level that will result in the new division becoming the company’s biggest product line by the end of 2023. The Function47 website launched today https://function47.com.

Meyers’ specialty lies within highly technical and tight tolerance at high volumes. These electronic components are typically made with flat-bed screen printing using Meyers’ proprietary process for producing the roll to roll method that allows for much higher volume and much lower cost without sacrificing quality. “Our team of chemical and mechanical engineers, and conductive ink specialists have worked hard to develop industry leading proprietary processes,” said Matt Evers, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Quality, Meyers. “This work is the result of immense research and development efforts and partnership with the leading suppliers and end users in the industry.”

“Meyers is proud to continue growing this department as an example of the innovation still being uncovered within the printed electronics industry,” said Chris Dillon, Chief Executive Officer, Meyers. “By assembling a team of leading industry experts we’ve managed to build one of the most compelling offerings within the printed electronics industry, and we look forward to continuing our significant growth within conductive ink printing,” stated Michael Dillon, Chief Revenue Officer, Meyers.
